Badger Tales – Refund & Guarantee Policy

Standard Refund Policy

Badger Tales operates a clear and fair refund structure for all sessions, one-shots, and campaign bookings.

Full refunds are available up to 48 hours before the scheduled start time of a session.

No refunds will be issued for bookings made within 48 hours of the session, or for cancellations received once that 48-hour window has begun.

This applies to individual sessions, multi-session bookings, campaign seats, and event tickets unless otherwise stated.

This policy allows our Storytellers to prepare effectively and ensures fairness across all our games.

The Badger Tales Guarantee

We want every player to feel immersed, excited, and supported at our tables. To reflect this, we offer the Badger Tales Guarantee:

If a player does not enjoy their first session with a Storyteller, they may request a full refund of that session—no questions asked.

As the guarantee indicates a fundamental mismatch between player expectations and Storyteller/GM vision, players who use the guarantee will be withdrawn from the current campaign.

This is not a punishment; it simply reflects that the table’s tone, pacing, or style isn’t the right fit.

Important Notes:

While we never require an explanation for using the guarantee, we genuinely appreciate any feedback offered, as it allows us to improve our experiences and support our Storytellers.

Players who use the guarantee may request help finding a different game, Storyteller, or campaign that better aligns with their interests. Badger Tales will make reasonable efforts to accommodate this where availability allows.

Rebooking & Further Support

Badger Tales is committed to creating enjoyable, safe, and inclusive stories for all players. If a player exercises the guarantee or requests removal from a game:

We can assist in finding a new campaign that suits their preferred playstyle, tone, or genre.

Players are always welcome to rejoin Badger Tales events with a different Storyteller or table.
